Unique: The New Venus Libra Overstory

Wizard Weekly by Daniel Giamario | October 4 2026 |

Important astro events this weekend include:

Sun facing Saturn, Saturday at 11Libra18 / 11Aries18Rx

Mars facing Pluto, Saturday at 3Leo06 / 3Aquarius06

The Moon’s second gate with Mars in Phase Five of his Cancer Overstory, Sunday at 4Leo08

Each deserves attention, but what inspires this Wizard Weekly is Venus stationary retrograde on Saturday, October 3, at 8Scorpio29.

Synthesis of Venus’ Piscean Overstory

Venus has now begun the synthesis of the Piscean Overstory, entering the process of shifting to the new Libra Overstory that begins with her heliacal rise on October 30 at 27Libra02Rx. This marks the most mysterious and alchemical part of her 584-day synodic cycle, where the primary archetype of the Sacred Feminine in both men and women goes through a complete death and rebirth process, especially from October 17-30 when she is between Earth and Sun, in the interior underworld, i.e. within 10degrees of the Sun. This is different from the shamanic death and rebirth experience in the exterior underworld, when Venus is on the other side of the Sun. In that phase Venus remained in the Piscean Overstory, but now she will have to go through the surrender initiatory process into her new evening star phase.

TOTAMS Course 5 on the synodic cycles of Moon, Venus, Mercury and Mars is being fully revised and updated as we speak. The Moon material has already been released. The Venus portion will follow suit on October 10th, my 78th birthday. On this occasion, we will have a flash sale for Course 5 from October 9-11 where you can buy the entire course for $650 instead of $775. Stay tuned for the next TOTAMS Transmissions (Newsletter) and further email communication about this special offer!

In the creation of this revised and updated material in collaboration with Gemini Brett, new discoveries and insights have emerged. I want to discuss  several of them here.

The Venus Star Points

Following the actual observation of a new Venus, as done by Meso-Americans, Babylonians, Hellenists and Sumerians, I have always used Venus’ heliacal morning star rise to mark the so-called Venus Star. It takes about 104 years, 65 synodic cycles of 584 days, for a horn of the pentacle to precess through an entire sign of the zodiac. I have found it of great interest to look at the quite unequal distribution of these star points each century.

For example, in the 20th century, we find the following star point distribution:

  • Aries 10
  • Scorpio10
  • Aquarius 9
  • Virgo 9
  • Gemini 7
  • Cancer 6
  • Capricorn 4
  • Leo 4
  • Taurus 2
  • Sagittarius 2

The top four compel me to call the 20th century the Aries-Scorpio-Aquarius-Virgo Age of Venus. Note the non-traditional nature of these archetypal expressions.

In the 21st century, we find:

  • Libra 11
  • Capricorn 11
  • Pisces 10
  • Leo 10
  • Taurus 7
  • Gemini 7
  • Sagittarius 5
  • Aries 3
  • Cancer 2
  • Scorpio 2

Here, the top four compel me to call the 21st century the Libra-Capricorn-Pisces-Leo Age of Venus.

Can you see the huge difference? Two of the 21st century’s top four, Libra and Pisces, did not appear at all in the 20th century!

The First In Over A Hundred Years

The currently concluding Pisces Overstory was the very first in over a hundred years! And the soon to heliacally rise Venus in Libra is only the second one since the 1800s. This is partly why I am so interested in the coming rise of Venus. Another special occurrence is that on the same date, October 30, the star Spica, historically a stellar stand-in for Venus, is rising with Venus. The stars of the Priestess constellation are now aligned with the tropical sign of Libra. Thus, the Libra Mystery School of Life, along with Pisces, is now on the frontlines. Entirely absent in the 20th century, both are major ingredients of this century, aligning with the intent of the emergent post-KaliYuga era, the Kali Yuga having ended on March 21 2025.

Renaissance of The Relationship of The Sexes

The implications of this for personal relationship and partnership are interesting and full of promise. Imagine an emerging era of compassionate empathy for self and others, and inter-dependency rather than co-dependency! Non-hierarchical conscious equal partnership, grounded in the individual’s sovereignty and autonomy, can well become the norm. Wouldn’t it be great to experience a renaissance of the cooperative and collaborative relationship between the sexes – as it has been prior to the Kali Yuga and the rise of patriarchy.
