Whether you are warming up by the campfire or enjoying the cool mountain breeze in the ample shade of the oaks (‘robles’), El Rancho Robles is a beautiful escape any time of year. Come see the stars as they were meant to be seen. There would not be so many if we were all meant to wish on the same one!“

From Our School’s Founder, Daniel Giamario:
Our School’s yearly tradition of an all-school gathering or conference was unceremoniously aborted because of the unfortunate events of early 2020. Now in 2023, we are beginning again as if for the first time.
We have been able to secure the same great conference location about an hour North of Tucson in the appropriately named town of Oracle, AZ.
We have added a day to our gathering but have kept the pricing the same. Our presenters cover a wide range of knowledge, interests, and expertise.
We also are delighted to have with us two old friends that many of you know: John Dumas and Gemini Brett.
This event is designed to create community among our school members and friends, and offers a chance to experience the power and love of in-person sharing. I think some of us are growing tired of Zoom. There will be beginners presentations as well as more advanced research presented.
I have my own flight booked and am looking forward to being there together with you all!
The night skies of Arizona that time of year are quite incredible and activities to highlight that will be featured also.
Last, but not least, there will be a graduation ceremony for those ready to receive their Foundational Certification. If you feel that you are ready, or close to being ready, please contact me indicating your desire.
Love and Magic from Daniel

THE ASTROLOGY AND COSMOLOGY OF April 11-17, 2023 21-25
Our gathering begins just before a last quarter Moon that is very far out-of-bounds. The entire event will have dark skies as the waning Moon will rise after midnight, with the New Moon and an Annular Solar Eclipse 3 days later on April 20.
All major planetary placements are in direct motion. This is true from January 22, 2023 through April 21, 2023, when Mercury turns retrograde. This a remarkable total of 89 days!
PLANETARY PLACEMENTS
SUN 21Aries54 — 27Aries20
MOON 04Capricorn54 – 23Pisces57

SATURN 03Pisces49 — 04Pisces19
URANUS 17Taurus22 — 17Taurus40
NEPTUNE 26Pisces07 — 26Pisces18

CERES 25Virgo54R — 25Virgo05R
PALLAS 22Cancer07 — 24Cancer08
JUNO 18Taurus08 — 21Taurus24
THE MOON
Upon arrival on April 11, the Moon will be an astonishing 27S56 declination, approaching its maximum, considerably more than 4 degrees from the ecliptic. On the evening of April 12, its still 27S12 declination. By the next evening it will have diminished to 24S42
The Moon will move from Capricorn through Pisces, with the Moon rising after midnight. The last quarter Moon is the evening/morning of April 12-13 at 23Capricorn11. The New Moon eclipse day is April 20 at 29Aries50.
MERCURY
Mercury can be seen as a bright evening star approaching retrograde on April 20, 2023. Mercury then closes in on Uranus by April 21. Located in the Lakota Sacred Hoop just past Aldebaran, and 17-20 degrees from the Sun. Mercury is in the Hermetic phase of its synod, within the Capricorn overstory.
VENUS
Venus is also a much brighter evening star also in the hoop just past the Pleiades. Venus is 40degrees from the Sun very high in the evening sky. Within the Capricorn synodic overstory, she is between the 4th and 5th chakric gate after rising from the Inanna underworld last December 1.
MARS
Also in the evening sky, Mars is about 75 degrees from the Sun. Still rather bright, Mars is also found in the hoop, having past the galactic edge, and now winding his way through the Twins constellation on his way to Castor and Pollux. His current Gemini synodic overstory began last December 7. Mars now in the second Mars task/labor of the second phase, known as the quest or the labors of Mars.
JUPITER
A major highlight of our gathering is the yearly Sun/Jupiter conjunction, on the day of our arrival. The exact conjunction just hours before we begin is at 21Aries48. Jupiter will not be visible, but will certainly be present.
SATURN
Saturn will be our only morning star, about 53degrees from the Sun, high in the sky. There will be a square all week with Venus. Saturn can be found in the Water Bearer constellation in close proximity with the star Sadalmelik.
URANUS
Currently in the hoop near the horns of the Bull.
NEPTUNE
Neptune is in the stars of the Fish Constellation, approaching the Vernal Equinox, when entering Aries in 2025.
PLUTO
A major event in Pluto’s cycle happened March 23, 2023, just weeks before our gathering, when Pluto entered Aquarius. Pluto remains in Aquarius until 2043. This is a big deal and will be explored as part of our seminar. This is the area of the sky of the Goat-Fish constellation.
LUNAR NODES
The next eclipse season is from April 20-May 5 and includes an Annular Total Solar Eclipse (not visible North America or Europe) and a penumbral Lunar eclipse. Consequently, the Lunar Nodes are quite stationary right now.
CHIRON
Chiron has been in alignment with Jupiter and remains close by.
VESTA, PALLAS, and CERES
Presentations on all three of these are likely to be part of the curriculum.
THE NIGHT SKY
Under dark skies, the evenings will host a great view of the Galactic Edge, the Lakotan Sacred Hoop, and Mercury, Venus and Mars. We will have at least 2 nights of night sky viewing and teaching.
TOTAMS Wellness Policy to Apply to In Person Events
In support of our commitment to locate and provide knowledge and nourishment to “Seed People,” the Turning of the Ages Mystery School shall strive to, whenever possible, maintain a tradition of gathering in-person to hold school events and trainings.
During our in-person events, it will be our goal to encourage personal connection, togetherness, and communication as natural, organic human beings. We will not be requiring masking or social distancing. However, if local regulations unexpectedly change, we will re-examine the structure of the event in question.
As TOTAMS resolutely stands for personal freedom and inclusion, we strive to support a model that does not contribute to the bifurcation and separation that is rampant these days. TOTAMS will respect the decision of participants who are not ill to use a mask or social distance should they choose, and should anyone in attendance become ill prior to or during any in-person event, certainly masking, social distancing and self-quarantining are encouraged, just as they had always been prior to 2020.
In light of the sometimes physical and psychological discomfort that some experience when gathering in groups at this time, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, please be aware that we do not require our participants to disclose their vaccination or health status, and although some of those present at our gatherings may have received Covid-19 vaccinations prior to 2022, we expect that the majority of those attending our events will not have received any. Should any of this be of concern, please take this knowledge into account before you choose to attend.
When choosing to attend one of our in-person events, it is our expectation that each participant will take personal responsibility for their own health, and agree to not hold TOTAMS or any of the event organizers or facilitators liable should they become ill during or immediately following the event.
Should this policy be unclear, please reach out to us at info@turningoftheages.com for clarification.
