As the remarkable alignments of Venus, Saturn, Neptune, the North Node (and now Ceres joining) are still ongoing, it is no wonder that mass uncertainty and confusion remain the collective experience of global humanity! On top of this, all planets are now direct, until Pluto is stationary retrograde on May 4. This weekend is also marked by yet another extreme Southern declination Out-of-Bounds Moon.
It’s worth punctuating all this by the extreme alignments involving the Moon, Mars and Pluto.
On Sunday, April 20, notice:
- Sun at 1Taurus12 square Mars, 6:34PM PDT
- Moon at 1Aquarius12 opposite Mars, 6:35PM PDT
- Moon Square Sun, 6:36PM; Mars at 1Leo12
- Moon conjunct Pluto at 3Aquarius36, 11:20PM
The third of three exact Mars opposite Pluto alignments is coming up on Saturday, April 26, 6:05PM PDT, at 3Leo48 / 3Aquarius48. This rare triple opposition pattern, which began back in November 2024, is culminating this week, and the events of this weekend are surely a precursor to that finality.
Mars is now nicely placed in the evening sky, at its quadrature, 90 degrees from the Sun. He is moving through the Crab constellation, crossing through Praesepe, the Beehive cluster. My advice is to go out now in the evening and see what insights you may gain from Mars.
