With Daniel Giamario
This is the first in 2023 of the continuing series of Yearly Highlight Seminars presented by TOTAMS. In this special seminar, we are featuring the dynamic interaction between the Venus and Mars cycles, with special emphasis on how they relate with each other.
The “overstories” of planetary synodic cycles are an important part of the TOTAMS astrological paradigm, and for many years (since 1998) we have offered seminars to keep our students up to date with these cycles as they unfold.
In continuing this tradition, in this seminar we have chosen to highlight the close evening sky alignment of Venus and Mars, who are within 10 degrees of each other from June 1 – July 24. TOTAMS refers to this particular version of their meeting as the “Great Saga”.
The date of our live call is also significant as it aligns with the opening of the eighth gate/portal of the evening star Venus cycle and the sixth challenge of Mars, on July 20. This window offers an opportunity to explore the Venus Capricorn Synodic Overstory, the Mars Gemini Synodic Overstory, as well as the significance of Venus and Mars together in the Great Saga.
Among the topics covered are a little known 6 and a half year cycle involving both Venus and Mars and the intent of Venus and Mars returns on a natal chart, especially as they relate to the Inner Sacred Marriage Process.
The Great Saga offers further ways to deepen our understanding of Venus and Mars and opportunities for ceremonial applications, which will also be suggested.
We hope you will join us for this Yearly Highlight Seminar! Also, keep an eye out for upcoming Highlight Seminars on the movements of the Lunar Nodes into the Aries/Libra axis, the next two eclipse seasons, and the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction.
