On Monday, October 13, at 7:54 PM PDT, Pluto stations direct at 1Aquarius21. I consider this to be a significant turning point for Pluto’s engagement with the sign of Aquarius. Let’s explore why.
Pluto’s Gradual Ingress Into Aquarius
Pluto first entered Aquarius back on March 23, 2023, made it to 0Aquarius21 by May 1, 2023, and then slowly retrograded back into Capricorn. Pluto next ingressed Aquarius on January 20, 2024, made it as far as 2Aquarius06, and again slowly retrograded back into Capricorn. Finally, on November 19, 2024, Pluto entered into Aquarius to stay. By May 4, 2025, Pluto had reached 3Aquarius49, and then has retrograded back to 1Aquarius21. By May 6, 2026, Pluto reaches as far as 5Aquarius30, and then only retrogrades back to 3Aquarius04.
This week, on October 13, is the first Pluto stationary direct without retrograding back into Capricorn. It’s full speed ahead for Pluto in the sign of Aquarius! What might that intend?
Using the TOTAMS method of creating windows of initiation, using 1Aquarius21 as a target degree, this Plutonian initiatory window started February 1, 2024, and ends now with this stationary direct, a period of more than 21 months (the usual timeframe for Pluto).
Pluto in Aquarius is About the Sign!
Keep in mind that Pluto in Aquarius is about the sign, and not the constellation. Thus, Pluto in Aquarius has very little to do with the “Age of Aquarius,” which concerns the movement of the Vernal Equinox into the stars of the Water Bearer constellation, a very different matter. This shifting of the Ages happened back in 1998. I have written and spoken about this often.

Again, Pluto in Aquarius refers to the sign, and not the constellation. It’s important to remember this when inadvertently projecting well-known Aquarian sign characteristics onto the astrological ages.
The Shadow
As I have extensively stressed, the sign that Pluto is in will reveal the “shadow” of that sign, and ultimately, what needs to be composted. At the end of the Kali Yuga, that would be the deepest descent of materialism. This full speed ahead of Pluto in Aquarius leads right into the third Uranus Return in Gemini of the United States in 2027 and the acceleration of the Fourth Turning.
Now that Pluto has turned direct and is in full speed ahead mode, it would appear that these past 21 months have deeply solidified the Aquarian shadow. Among these “accomplishments” are a global surveillance grid, the creation of the digital simulacra of the Earth and a digital brain, digital doppelgängers of each human being, a massive spiderweb satellite space fence, digital IDs, the rulership of technocratic oligarchs, and a worldwide adoption of large-language-model AI. (Artificial Intelligence, what an oxymoron, how about Authentic Intelligence instead?) What could possibly go wrong?
Fortunately more and more people are waking up to this great threat to an authentic and organic global humanity, remaining connected to Spirit, Soul, Heart, and God. Morals and ethics have failed to evolve as fast as the alleged “progress” of technology, a situation that so very many spiritual teachers have warned us of. One thing is clear to me: the chaos and confusion is very much to be expected at this junction of the Great Turning. This rapidly increasing and seemingly unstoppable shadow of Aquarius must be clearly and consciously faced. No spiritual bypass will possibly succeed. TOTAMS will always remain committed to finding and nurturing “Seed People” and to intend with the Spiritual Will the resurrection of Prime Earth and a Great Awakening.
