I will do something a little different this week. It’s time for another book recommendation, one of my two favorite books of 2024, along with Yuga Shift, which I have previously featured in vlogs and writings.
Then I will share something that I have been promising for a while: Where do I get my information? As a Capricorn Moon researcher, and having been at this full-time since the 1960s, it has always been part of my life purpose / sacred work to research as many things as possible, and from as many different angles as possible. The TOTAMS Three Worlds Approach was developed from that foundation. As a Taurus job in the Capricorn tribe, it has also been a pleasure to do this, often quite entertaining, equally often of the sardonic variety. The resources I am sharing are my current distillation.
I also track mainstream news, as well as partisan posts of the left and right, the red and blue etc. But the opinions and research that I most respect are those that see through the two-party delusion. The United States founding “fathers” warned against a two-party system, as well as against a democracy which can so easily be manipulated into a tyrannical rule of the majority, based on propaganda and technology. Instead, they advocated for a constitutional republic, which is very different. I am quite grateful that my “job” involves having the time to do all this research, and I also realize that many do not. That is why I am sharing this distillation. However, at this great Turning of The Ages, so much is expanding and changing, and these views are not at all dogmatic and continually evolving. The same thing is true of the Shamanic Astrology Paradigm ™.

The book “CIVILIZED TO DEATH: The Price of Progress” by Christopher Ryan
Ryan’s previous book was “Sex at Dawn” which is also worth reading. I became aware of this newer book via the Nevermore substack, that was inspired by the work of David Graeber, the writer of “The Dawn of Everything”, my favorite book of last year, which I have also previously written about on a number of occasions.
So many relevant topics of our time are covered in Ryan’s new book. All of these books correspond and resonate with a basic theme of my writings and research: that our current time is a devolution, and that much of modernity and the “myth of progress” has been deeply damaging to what human beings have been for hundreds of thousands of years. Before the Kali Yuga more than 6000 years ago, global humanity was mainly peaceful, cooperative, egalitarian, and abundant. Human nature is not what you have been led to believe. This book is a deep questioning of so-called civilization itself. If you wanted to read just one, this is the one I most recommend.
