Uranus reached a still-point, having turned stationary direct on February 4 at 27Taurus27. From Earth’s perspective, it will now slowly pick up speed, entering Gemini April 25. Uranus previously entered Gemini on July 26, 2025, but after April 25 of this year, it will not return to Taurus for another 76 years.
It’s full speed ahead for Uranus!
Two Important Punctuation Points
Over the next week, we will find two important punctuation points to stimulate the intent of Uranus:
- On Monday, February 9, at 6:16PM PST, the Moon at 27Scorpio28 moves into a resonant polarity (otherwise called an opposition) with Uranus at 27Taurus28. This can be considered to signify expanded awareness, but also adds to the unpredictability of outer events.
- An even greater “crisis in action” comes Sunday, February 15, 9:02PM PST, with the Sun at 27Aquarius31 square to Uranus at 27 Taurus31. I generally ascribe about a 3-day window to the energies of outer planet squares.
Assemblage-Point Breaker
Uranus can be considered a celestial (upper world) agent of initiation. Rather than debating whether the energy is more like the Greek Uranus, a sky God, or Prometheus, a demigod of revolution, or both, what we have noticed in TOTAMS is that Uranus is an assemblage-point breaker.
Much like the Tower card in the Tarot, the initiatory function is to dis-assemble the previous structures. That is not necessarily a referendum on whether those previous structures have been “good or bad”, but rather that it’s time for it to happen, so that a structure can re-assemble at a different level. I liken it to being “hit by lightning in a good way.” The action is unpredictable, unknowable, and unstoppable. It often operates by way of extreme novelty.
Important to note is that the United States will have its third Uranus Return in 2027, and the end of the Fourth Turning is 2027-2030. The previous Fourth Turnings coincided with the United States Civil War, and the years of the Great Depression leading up to WWII.
Be In Front Of The Wave
My advice is what I always offer with all things Uranus: Roll with the punches, flow with the faith that the movement is in the direction your Soul and Great Mystery desires, and approach everything with an open hand and without attachment. Rather than being resistant and getting crushed, it’s way better be in front of the wave.
Anticipate the unexpected. Surely, world events of the first weeks of 2026 have revealed things that few prophets or psychics could have foreseen. But it’s actually quite to be expected for the unexpected to occur. There are only 8 years left in the 72-year time frame of The Great Turning, and simultaneously, the end of Kali Yuga is unfolding. The intent, among other things, is the composting of materialism. The acceleration is bound to amplify even more and timelines continue to split.
