After the intensity, magic, and challenges of the now concluded eclipse season, the only aspect that gets my attention is the Jupiter-Saturn trine on Monday with Jupiter at 13Leo41 and Saturn at 13Aries41Rx. Alignments of Jupiter and Saturn are among my favorites, as they signify the availability of resources and support from the Middle World. With that in mind I will use this Wizard Weekly to share my favorite resources, as well as some books I have enjoyed recently. Take note that these align with my personal views and do not indicate any “official” or dogmatic position of the Turning of The Ages Mystery School.
My Go-To Resources for Intel and Research
Without exception, all those listed are non-partisan and see things from the level of a Third Paradigm, beyond Red and Blue, Right and Left, or any other duopolies. - Dorian Lynskey, The Ministry of Truth: A biography of George Orwell’s 1984. My most recent read. An illuminating window into the lure of totalitarianism.
- Laurent Guyenot, From Yahweh to Zion: Jealous God. Chosen People. Promised Land….Clash of Civilizations. A massive and well documented tour d’ force about the origins of Zionism. I have also recently read three other books of his, His research about the Kennedy assassination is the best I have ever found.
- The Pope’s Curse: The Medieval Origin of the Western Syndrome
- The 9-11 Triple Cross
- The Unspoken Kennedy Truth
- Jefferson Morley, The Ghost: The Secret Life of CIA Spymaster James Jesus Angleton. Super interesting look at the guy who sold out the US to Israel and possibly organized the Kennedy killing as well as orchestrating the cover-up.
- Peter Selg, Rudolph Steiner’s Final Courses—Dornach, September 1924. Excellent work from Selg and his latest. I have read many of his books about Rudolf Steiner.
- Sergei Prokofieff, The Encounter With Evil. And its Overcoming through Spiritual Science. A deep investigation of Rudolf Steiner’s analysis of evil; one of several source books for my essays on The Enigma of Evil.
- Rudolf Steiner, The Threefold Commonwealth. One of Steiner’s masterworks, about how the world could be better organized. If only we had listened to him!
- Cynthia Chung, The Empire on Which the Black Sun Never Set: the birth of Anglo-American Foreign Policy. Deep and well documented research into the origins of Anglo-American hegemony.
- Patrick M. Wood, The New Economics of Technocracy: You will Own Nothing. Wood knows more about the agenda of technocracy and calls out the perpetrators.
- Gary Lachman, Aleister Crowley: Magick, Rock and Roll, and the Wickedest Man in the World. There have been many books and biographies of Crowley, and this one is quite easy to read, as well as connecting the dots to the excesses of the 1960s. I have read six other Lachman books in the past. All are recommended.
- Andrew Collins, Karahan Tepe: Civilization of the Anunnaki and the Cosmic Origins of the Serpent of Eden. I journeyed with Andrew to Gobekli Tepe in 2018. This is his latest book. More than any other writer, I trust his views and research on the Denisovans, the Anunnaki, and even the Mound Culture of the Americas. Though we disagree on Atlantis, I recommend all his books.
- Rose Simpson, Muse. Odalisque, Handmaiden: A Girl’s Life in The Incredible String Band. Over the years I have read numerous books about my favorite 1960s and 70s musicians. This was the most recent, and I highly recommend it to anyone who liked the Incredible String Band or are interested in what the late 1960s really were like!
- Joseph Farrell. I continue to recommend his many books.
- Elana Freeland. I continue to recommend her four books.
Next up for me is diving into Jason Jorjani’s monumental history of Persia titled Iranian Leviathan: A Monumental History of Mithra’s Abode.
Movies
I rarely watch movies these days, usually only when I’m on long-haul flights. This one I saw recently and absolutely loved it:
- The Legend of Ochi, with Willem Dafoe and Emily Watson. Search this one out, it will open your heart.
My Favorite Astrologers
Though they do not use the TOTAMS astrological paradigm, I greatly respect and have been influenced by the following astrologers who share many of the same values and world views that I hold:
- Elias Lonsdale. The only other astrologer of my generation (that I know of other than myself) who is influenced by both Rudhyar and Steiner. His books on the 360 degrees of the Zodiac are transcendentally illuminating!
- Mark Jones. Brilliant English psychologically based astrologer, and a Rudhyarian-oriented critic of evolutionary astrology.
- Dale O’Brien. Of my generation and a great exponent of the shamanic Chiron and the magic of the late 60s.
- Gary Caton. A nightsky-oriented alchemical astrologer with a deeply researched Substack.
- Eric Coppolino. Creator of Planet Waves, tireless researcher into the virus scam, and a leading-edge critic of AI.
- Gemini Brett. A colleague in TOTAMS, creator of many workshops on Astronomy for Astrologers, and a person who totally embodies the essence of Earth & Sky Shamanic Astrology. A true night sky wizard.
- And the many other certified shamanic astrologers trained over the last 40 years in my three schools.
