This unique partnership brings together the experiential and initiatory approach of TOTAMS Astrology with Ubiquity University’s graduate framework for advanced study, research, and thesis or dissertation work.
For students who feel called to take their relationship with astrology further, this pathway offers an opportunity to deepen their studies, develop an area of personal or professional inquiry, and contribute original work to the evolving field of astrology and cosmology.
The Process
From Astrology Certification to Graduate Study
Our Astrologer Certification Program provides a comprehensive foundation in the Shamanic Astrology Paradigm ™ , including birth charts, planetary cycles, relationship dynamics, observational astronomy, sacred timing, and the living relationship between Earth and Sky. The program unfolds through two levels:
Level 1 — Foundational Certified TOTAMS Astrologer
Students develop the core skills of the TOTAMS approach, including:
- Birth chart reading through an archetypal and mythological framework
- Planetary cycles, transits, and sacred timing
- Chart comparison and relationship dynamics and inner sacred marriage process
- Astrological counselling and communication
- Exploration of life purpose and archetypal essence
Level 2 — Fully Initiated Certified TOTAMS Astrologer
Level 2 moves beyond the chart and into direct relationship with the land and sky. Students deepen their practice through:
- Observational astronomy and naked-eye sky awareness
- Direct relationship with planets, stars, constellations, and celestial cycles
- Sacred space and ceremonial practice
- Direct experience and understanding of why we are at the great turning of the ages.
- Experiential engagement with land and sky
- Integration of astronomical observation with astrological understanding
- An individual graduation project or thesis contributing to the TOTAMS body of knowledge
It is this final element that creates a natural bridge into graduate-level research.
Your TOTAMS Studies Can Become the Foundation for Graduate Research
Students completing the TOTAMS certification pathway have the opportunity to develop their graduation project or thesis into further graduate-level research through Ubiquity University.
Your research might explore astrology, cosmology, consciousness, sacred astronomy, mythology, Earth-based spirituality, archetypal psychology, ceremonial practice, relationships, planetary cycles, the Turning of The Ages, or another area emerging from your own inquiry.
The intention is not simply to accumulate another credential.
It is to follow a question deeply enough that your own study becomes a contribution.

The Ubiquity Graduate Pathway
Ubiquity's graduate programs combine learning with research and writing. Graduate students are supported throughout their thesis or dissertation process and work with a Major Advisor during the research phase.
Master’s Degree (MA)
Continue your graduate studies through your chosen area of inquiry, complete Ubiquity’s required academic coursework, and develop a Master’s thesis.
Doctoral Degree (PhD)
Continue beyond the Master’s level into advanced research and dissertation work, with additional Ubiquity academic requirements
Combined MA/PhD
For students wishing to continue directly from Master’s-level study into doctoral research, Ubiquity also offers a combined MA/PhD pathway.
