The Pisces Full Moon lands on August 27 at 9:18 PM PDT with an almost total, 96% partial Lunar Eclipse.
And what a ride it has been so far.
I have never felt so lost yet found in so many ways. My nervous system has been on some crazy loop, and I am having to put myself first for perhaps the first time in my entire life. With that has come so much I have avoided feeling and so much I need to reclaim for myself. This is not about pushing through anymore. It is about actually embracing all that I FEEL.
It has been a journey. There has been the breakdown of so much, but there have also been many, many breakthroughs along the way. I found myself crying through the pure feeling of seeing and sensing through my entire body the light within it all. I am learning how to re-mother the parts of myself I have asked others to hold and love for me. I have been handed back everything I projected outward or pushed aside, and it is A LOT.
I am also seeing how much I have been carrying without even realizing I was carrying it. I can feel how old patterns and stories have lived within my nervous system, and I am beginning to understand that liberation comes through truly being present with what is here and allowing the process. I don’t know where it leads. Maybe I am not supposed to. Perhaps my work is simply to be here, right now.
Eclipse Portals – When Time Collapses
To me, eclipse portals are times when we receive some of our greatest guidance. The veils become thin. Time collapses. The time-attached ego becomes deeply uncomfortable as the mind struggles to hang on, while the Soul in body simply refuses to continue living in what is no longer true.
So, what is happening? What is realigning for you, for humanity, for Earth herself?
Can you see that this light, where nothing can remain pushed into the darkness, is here for you? Nothing is happening to you, it is all happening for you. It is making room for the Soul to lead. The old inner programs, constructs, views, attachments, and identities begin breaking down so that something new can emerge.
But how tightly are you hanging on? Can you see the choice between love and fear? The light is bringing you free will, a choice of what to choose. What timeline do you want to exist on? This is not punishment, this is liberation. You cannot be free or live within the frequency of love itself without seeing and honoring the fear and the traps. It is being lit up for our Soul evolution, for us to CHOOSE the new timeline. We are not waiting for anything. We are the ones we have been waiting for.
Perhaps trust is a choice to embody, not to mentalize but to live. It is one that we can no longer continue putting aside. The time is now. We see the fear, and the way out is through. What is more comfortable? What loop are you on? We have been more comfortable in victim mentality because that is what we were taught.
What is happening in your life? What is being eclipsed? Where are you being presented with the choice between fear and love? We are all impacted individually now on purpose. Crisis is here. Mama Earth is loud. Our minds are loud. Can you choose love through this? That does mean letting go of what was, inside and out.
Welcome to the light, where nothing is hidden.
The Moon Moves Through Shadow
Not only do we have the illumination of a Full Moon, but we have a Lunar Eclipse, where we journey from the illumination of the Full Moon into darkness of a New Moon and back into the light of the Full Moon within a matter of hours.
During a Lunar Eclipse, Earth passes between the Sun and Moon, casting Earth’s shadow upon the Moon. Something usually illuminated moves through darkness and becomes illuminated once again. We are invited to FEEL and see what is revealed as our ordinary perception of time and space seems to collapse.
We stand between the conscious and unconscious aspects of ourselves and humanity.
Will you listen? Will you feel? Will you allow?
Pisces • The Freedom to Love Without Losing Ourselves
This Full Moon in Pisces, with the North Node in Aquarius, points us toward destiny rather than the familiar loops of fate and old karma. It asks us to trust what we don’t know yet, but somehow already feel, hear, and sense.
Pisces is Water, in service to Spirit. Pisces is the transpersonal giver, operating through the feeling function and offering compassion beyond the personal. Its medicine is the ability to create space for grief, sorrow, suffering, joy, and the entirety of another’s experience without judgment – because we HAVE done it for ourselves!! NO MORE GIVING TO GET.
Pisces also marks completion before a new beginning. It carries tremendous flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to merge with love, feel what we are feeling, and offer that love and understanding while including ourselves without conditions.
Yet this gift has a shadow.
When connection to the sacred is lost, giving can become addiction. Compassion can become co-dependency. We can give to get, lose our boundaries, become indecisive, or sacrifice ourselves while calling it unconditional love. Sounds familiar?
We cannot hold space for another if we have not done that for ourselves. We cannot love another until we have loved ourselves. OR…it is an unconscious giving to get. So…what are you FEELING?
This is what is being illuminated within us.
The Aquarius North Node Guiding Us
And the guide is the North Node in Aquarius, the collective destiny point, our future Self as ONE reaching down to get our attention.
Aquarius is Air, the self-discovery PROCESS of freedom, the path to self-liberation. It seeks higher truth, higher love, and the wildest possible viewpoint. It investigates the mind and subconscious and asks us to take responsibility for our own evolutionary path. Aquarius brings us the process of understanding that true freedom comes from within and that every human being has the right to create the life they believe in.
This is far from herd mentality.
This is the freedom to be yourself, to think for yourself, to hold your own opinions, to question the boxes you have lived within, and to discover what freedom actually means to you.
Where have you given that up?
Including Our True, Authentic Selves
Perhaps this Eclipse is illuminating something incredibly simple and impossibly complex at the same time: the freedom to choose unconditional love without losing ourselves because we INCLUDE our true, authentic selves.
Maybe that is the simplicity of complexity.
This is not about over-giving or abandoning our values in the name of love. It is about discovering where we have sacrificed our inner freedom for love and called that love.
There is always a choice. We have free will.
But now we are being shown how we have been using that free will, where we are still not free within ourselves, and where our understanding of love remains entangled within old programming and conditional rules passed down through generations and patriarchal systems.
Those structures are breaking down, and oh, the layers.
Now we journey through them one by one, with compassion. We honor the grief, the anger, the joy, the aliveness, and the extraordinary experience of simply being human. We can have compassion for others who are walking their own path and caught within their own programs of survival while allowing them to be exactly where they are.
And we can finally allow ourselves to be held exactly where we are.
Virgo • The Pattern Weaver
We cannot speak about this Moon without speaking about the Sun in Virgo, conjunct Mercury. Mercury is with the Sun during this eclipse, bringing perception, communication, and cognition directly into this illumination.
Virgo is Earth in service to Spirit. Virgo discovers and dedicates the Self to Sacred Work, bringing Spirit into matter and restoring the sacred balance of life through co-creation with ALL of life.
Virgo understands cycles, patterns, and that life is a spiral. It recognizes when something has fallen out of pattern or harmony and knows how to participate in restoring balance. It honors the sacred timing of life and all dimensions of existence while honoring all three worlds as sacred, co-creating and weaving together to restore balance.
Virgo is Earth in service to Spirit., the pattern weaver, the sacred herbalist, the cosmic weaver, the priestess and priest restoring natural order when something has fallen out of alignment. Virgo sees distorted patterns and willingly gives over the ego in service to restoring sacred harmony.
But we cannot create new patterns until we see the old ones.
What keeps looping in your life? What keeps repeating? What survival strategy continues to run your nervous system? Where have you become so identified with material reality that you have forgotten your Soul calling?What pattern keeps returning, dressed in another form? What needs to be brought back into harmony by sacrificing the old so that a new order can be established within you? How many times does the Universe need to show us the same thing before we choose another way? A way that loves us, includes us, and gives us the freedom to actually be ourselves?
We cannot be in service to Spirit if we are not also in service to our own Spirit. Otherwise, we sacrifice the Self to make someone or something else sacred while excluding ourselves from the sacredness of ALL life.
How does this play out for you?
Are you striving for perfection? Judging yourself? Giving to get without even realizing it?
Mercury is perception, communication, and cognition, and here, Mercury sits with the Sun, blinded by the light and infused with the unconscious and conscious as the Full Moon Eclipse illuminates what has been living within.
Perhaps your inner world is shifting first, and the apparent chaos around you is simply your outer world beginning to rearrange itself so that it can finally match what has already changed within. For us to live in balance and harmony, we must first face what is out of alignment. Where have we confused being in service to Spirit with being in service to another person, authority, institution, belief system, or structure rather than being in service to ALL of life, including ourselves? What needs to be sacrificed, to be made sacred, for you to come into full alignment with yourself, with love itself, with your will, and with your freedom to be unapologetically you?
This entire axis is in service to Spirit, and then we add the collective destiny point of the North Node in Aquarius, a sign of investigation of the Self.
Are we not self-discovering here?
Uranus • Let It Break So It Can Break Through
This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse squares Uranus in Gemini. A square brings a crisis into action, a choice made real and visceral.
Uranus brings change, unpredictable and unexpected real change. But it is not designed to take us into the underworld. It takes us into another world, somewhere we have not been, yet within ourselves and therefore somewhere we have not been able to create around us. This asks us to trust magic and synchronicity and allow change to break apart what we have been holding onto so tightly, perhaps without even realizing we were gripping it.
What will you allow to break down so you can break through?
Make the tension of the square sacred.
What is asking to be released so something you cannot yet imagine has room to come toward you?
Virgo weaves the web.
Spiders weave webs, but they do not decide what must land within them. They create the web and allow what belongs there to arrive.
Think about that.
What are you trying to control or demand must be in your web? Where are you giving yourself away in order to keep those things there?
Are we simply being emptied?
And if so, what if emptiness isn’t the end?
What if it is room?
Venus • Reclaiming The Crown
Venus, the Divine Feminine within all of us, is in Libra and in communication with the Sun, Mercury and the Moon during the Eclipse, bringing us back into the great mirror.
Here we are asked to honor ourselves as our own best friend and to give ourselves the same respect we so willingly offer another. Libra reveals where we people-please, surrender our truth, or become co-dependent with another person, a system, a belief, or a viewpoint simply to remain accepted.
Libra reminds us that everyone has a place upon the wheel. Every being carries a gift and walks a unique journey, including the rivers, the plants, the insects, and our own Self. There is a new way of co-creating Earth together, but that creation begins with the choice to love and be love itself. And we cannot truly love another while excluding ourselves from that love. Otherwise, somewhere beneath the giving remains a need to get.
Venus is ascending and reclaiming the Crown Chakra, returning us to the present moment, serenity, joy, and direct connection to Spirit. This is profound knowing beyond intellect, connection to the pure essence of love beyond ego, and the remembrance that life itself is woven from love and grace.
So where are you living from fear that creates hesitation? Where has feeling different or out of place become loneliness? Where have you lost meaning because you have forgotten your direct connection to the sacred?
The gift of the Crown is remembrance of interconnectedness with Source. It is receiving and giving from pure Source energy in a way that supports the evolution and growth of consciousness. It is knowing that we are connected to what is below and what is above and learning to become comfortable with timelessness.
It is trust.
What is asking to be reclaimed by allowing yourself to feel everything that needs to be felt? Maybe they are right. The only way out is through. And maybe our fears are not here to stop us at all. Maybe they are our guides. Maybe fear illuminates the road we have been afraid to walk because somewhere inside us we already know it will change everything. The path less taken, the Soul road.
Love is the healer of all. What happens when we all choose Love itself?
