Saturn stationed retrograde on Saturday, 9:07PM PDT, and is at the still point at 1º56’03”Aries. Saturn has been and is within that first degree of Aries from May 24 until August 15! Simultaneously, Saturn and Neptune are the closest they get in 2025, with Neptune’s retrograde at 2º09’Aries. Their first exact conjunction does not occur until February 20, 2026, at 0º44’Aries.
Saturn and Neptune entering Aries at nearly the same time is surely one of the most significant events of 2025. TOTAMS closely covered all of them in our Highlight Seminars:
When a planet is at a retrograde or direct station, at its still point, we notice a profound concentration of the initiatory intent of the respective planet and sign, as well as the planetary complexes that may be associated with it. Saturn’s alignment with Neptune is particularly important, as this only occurs about every 35-36 years. Most recently, the generations of 1952-53 and 1988-89 had this happen, but not at the 0-1Aries degree!
The period of March 28 – November 28 is especially significant as it describes the specific 8-month cycle of this year’s Saturn initiatory period: with the target degree of 25º09’Pisces. Heads up to individuals with Saturn in significant placements from 24ºPisces through around 2ºAries.
What May Be The Intent?
From an evolutionary perspective and from the TOTAMS’ approach, this Saturn ingress into Aries creates the possibility of forging a new and different view of Saturn (and Aries) than which has existed in patriarchy, Hellenistic astrology, and in particular throughout the last 2000 years. A major element of TOTAMS has been to revision that “old” Saturn, which we feel has been hijacked, and is not the actual and eternal essence of Saturn. The “war” element of Aries is in drastic need of revision too, including eye-for-an-eye philosophies and the blood feuds and tribal attachments and traumas attached to them.
What can be re-imagined and then eliminated from Saturn are guilt, the judgment of deficiency from a “Father” (God or parent or ruler), and some need of perfection, as if there would be a reward for it. These are hoaxes and deceptions perpetrated on humanity. They originate in the false doctrine of “original sin” promoted by St. Paul, which otherwise does not exist in the Christian Bible or in any of the Abrahamic religions. In recent times, it’s the well-known “super-ego” in its judge-critic function, originating in Freudian psychology.
The Saturn-Neptune alignment offers interesting possibilities: On one hand, it can confuse and create a sort of “identity crisis” for Saturn, even infuse Saturn with greater spirituality, empathy, and compassion, helping to restore its original function. On the other hand, old Saturn could double down and continue attempting to eliminate free-will, the connection to spirit and soul, and impose a cold, emotionless technocracy on global humanity, creating a “higher (sic)” octave of the patriarchal rulership of a small group of oligarchs, controlling a global neo-feudalism of humanity, seen as a digital commodity.
At any rate, the future is not fixed, and we, as Seed People, with our spiritual will, can create the actions and visions necessary to continue the great work of revisioning Saturn and Aries, rising above the “fog of war” and the distractions and deceptions of the mainstream and alternative mainstream media.
