Most of you will know that i currently serve as the TOTAMS Media (& Much More) Maven. This role involves a wide variety of tasks, but the primary focus is on every piece of content published by the school and all things (un-)social media. I also assist in creating content, such as the Seed People Spotlight series on YouTube, the odd article about my ventures to Sacred Sites, and the odd vlog with Daniel.
In the latter capacity, we were preparing for The Master Blueprint – Neptune’s Ingress Into Aries, and – unaware that the brilliant Silvianne K. Delmars had already done much of that research! – i was curious to find out when the next Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries might be. Trying different resources but not being able to get the information i was looking for, i thought to give Chat GPT a go. Here’s what transpired …

Using AI as a Research Tool?
Much has already been written and spoken about the use of AI in the context of astrology, not least in Daniel’s recent ramblings AI – The Greatest Danger to Real Astrology Yet. But i felt sharing this thread to once again point to the dangers involved and to how easily one can be fooled if not double- and triple-checking, or, as the old adage goes, doing one’s own research!
As far as creating content such as articles and website copy is concerned, following my suggestion some time ago, TOTAMS does have this ‘disclaimer’ on the website:
“Please note: As text created by AI has become widespread across the internet, we wish to state: All text appearing on this website was created by real human beings and not by or assisted by artificial, non-living entities. Although, we make great efforts to monitor all posts for inaccuracies and typographical errors, please rest assured that any mistakes you come across are solely the result of human imperfection. Should you find any such errors, we encourage you to contact us so that a real human being can correct them.”
However, i have to honestly admit that i was still innocent enough to believe that AI could be used as a research tool. Well, after this encounter, not for me anymore. Or at the very least, i won’t use any such ‘research’ without further research!
And Then, The Click-Bait (Un-)Social Media Misinformation!
Since i’m already writing this snippet, and as i am working daily with various (un-)social media platforms, i also thought to add this example of wildly ‘popular’ misinformation, currently circulating throughout the metaverse:
This was published on Instagram on January 21 2026. The account in question has a whopping 21.9K ‘followers’ and is also active on Fakebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Only that … there is no such ‘planet parade’ on February 28 of this year! None! If you have an interest in following the movements of the planets – for instance by tuning onto the monthly TOTAMS Members Calls – you will be aware that Mars and Venus are on opposite sides of the sky right now, making it impossible for them to be seen together in the sky, and that there’s lots more inaccuracies in that post. Looks like it’s something recycled from last year. Though i have not gone to the extent of checking whether such an alignment was or wasn’t happening back then. If you do, please let me know.
