A group of us is now gathered at Faywood Hot Springs in what is turning out to be a yearly event. This is where, in the early 2000s, I had the great pleasure of designing and having built a magnificent large stone circle. It truly is the perfect location for cosmologically oriented night sky events. See my article about it here.
A great highlight of our time together is to ceremonially observe the auspicious 8th gate portal of the now concluding Venus Pisces Overstory that began on March 29 2025 with her heliacal rise in Pisces. For two nights in a row we will see the Moon and Venus close together, high up in the evening sky.

Moon meets Venus at 2Scorpio33,
- 4:33AM PDT on Monday, September 14
- 14:33PM same day in Giza
- 19:33PM same day in the Philippines
The Moon and Venus will be 41degrees from the Sun in the evening sky. The alignment is just past the left foot of the Priestess constellation, just inching into the Scales constellation. Due to the upcoming Venus retrograde on October 3 at 8Scorpio29SR, Venus will not reach the balance beam of the Scales until December 22 when arriving at 15Scorpio. By then she will already be high in the morning sky, 35degrees from the Sun, and in the portal of the first descending Crown Chakra gate. Upon her heliacal rise at 27Libra02Rx on October 30, Venus will have begun the Libra Overstory.
The exact conjunction will be observed differently in different parts of the world. In the Americas and even at the Earth’s true Prime Meridian at Giza, the exact conjunction is in the morning or the middle of the day. In the Philippines it is seen perfectly in the evening sky just after sunset. Consequently, here in New Mexico, and the Americas in general, Sunday evening will find the Moon about 6degrees below Venus, and Monday evening about 7degrees past her. Because of the geographical differences from a global perspective, I think the portal opens when the Moon comes within 10degrees of Venus. Both nights can be ceremonialized with expanded awareness by intent observances!
What is this 8th gate?

Within the architecture of Venus’ 584-day synodic cycle, there are always 7 gates, not always an 8th. There was an 8th gate on the descending morning star portion of the Pisces Overstory, and now there also is an 8th gate gracing her ascending evening star phase. We term the descending 8th gate “Death by Intent”. The ascending 8th gate, associated with an Astral Chakra, is the polar opposite, termed “Expanded Awareness by Intent”. Back in the 1990s when I first became aware of and wrote about the Venus synodic cycle, I speculated that whenever an 8th gate happens, it is a collective experience of conscious individuals expanding their consciousness as part of a group intention. The 7th gate represents more of an individual focus on the expanded crown chakra.
A number of synchronistic events have reconnected me to those initial insights about the less frequent 8th gate. Now we happen to be gathered at this special place for this exact occurrence! And here at this location in New Mexico, we even have the opportunity to be with this Venus-Moon meeting two evenings in a row!
Questions to Ponder
Now in Scorpio to soon begin her metamorphosis in the interior underworld between the Earth and Sun, Venus is about to conclude her 584-day Pisces Overstory.
How can she integrate and synthesize her journey?
The intent of this Venus Pisces Overstory cycle, incidentally her first in Pisces is over a century, can point out the following:
- Have you expanded your awareness of the compassion necessary for the healing of all sentient beings? All that lives?
- Have you decided to include yourself as being worthy of grace and compassion?
- Have you developed healthy personal boundaries so as to not take on the grief and suffering you are so good at feeling all around you?
- Are you willing to let go of the Piscean shadows of martyrdom and victim consciousness; as well as the savior complex?
- Your allocated essence of Compassion is a gift from Creator and Great Mystery.
Postscript: 25th Anniversary of 9/11
It feels somewhat necessary to add some commentary about the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the event that, in my opinion, began the Fourth Turning currently underway. It is beyond my comprehension that anyone who is not an NPC (non-player-character) or cognitively impaired brainwashed-by-propaganda zombie can still believe the “official” narrative! Yes, that’s a pretty harsh judgment, for sure. The same applies to the ritual killing of the Three Kings. I highly recommend the thoroughly documented and researched work of the late Jon Rappoport, as well as James Corbett, David Icke, Laurent Guyonot. There are so many others.
The victims of the collateral damage deserve our grief and our remembrance. And surely, the true perpetrators must one day be held accountable. Even after the first months following the event, I felt it was an inside job. And my recent conclusion is, for sure, it was an inside job, primarily orchestrated by Mossad, in coordination with MI6 and the CIA, probably using nano-thermite means. Even Zionist tool Donald Trump, on the first day, saw it as a demolition, changing his story later. Enough about this. Do your own research, question everything, and come to your own conclusions.
